Very disappointed as the studs and cut-out on the base was reversed. It was clearly cut-out on the wrong side. Also, a couple of the studs were too deeply embedded in the base, and one of the magnets not adhered to the base. There was even an extra stud attached to one of the studs embedded in the base. It looks as if someone was rushed making this!
I sent an email to their support team, and still waiting to hear back to see how this can be fixed.
Otherwise case is beautiful and great background. I just can’t put in the plaque or put the Lego set on the base in the right place due to the studs being on the wrong side.
I’ve gotten many of these cases from Wicked Brick before, and never had a quality issue until now.
It’s too bad, especially as their prices keep increasing, and now this.
UPDATE: Wicked Brick emailed me in a couple of days and said that the add-on was mirrored, so they sent me a new base with the add-on within a week. Great service, and it now looks great!
This is one of the first display cases that I have bought from Wicked Brick and I absolutely love it! The quality of the product is above and beyond....and honestly totally worth the long wait!
The new mounting system with screws also on the down and top cover and no more joints requires a bit of apprenticeship, but it is certainly more robust in the attachments and facilitates the "remove and put" operations without the risk of breaking the Lego set.
The quality is indisputable, but the purchase price is really prohibitive ...
Sure, it's the best way to expose the Central Perk, but poor Phoebe alone on the side covered by the set tag, would perhaps induce a redesign of the base stand.
Shipping costs and waiting times are still exaggerated
I was getting frustrated with my sets getting dusty but I didn’t want to store them away and not see them, so I searched the internet for solutions that were sealed and looked amazing.
I stumbled across Wicked Brick and was instantly impressed with the designs and the detail. After receiving the case it was very clear that they’ve worked hard to develop their production process because the elements fit together perfectly and produce a seriously premium looking final product.
I bought this case together with the Iron Man Hall of Armor case as they are the same size and stack on top of each other (you have to remove the top lid from the bottom case). So they can sit nicely on my shelf together, taking up a little less space, whilst displaying the sets beautifully.
The plaque detail with the Central Perk logo is a great little addition and just adds the finishing touch. I’ve also got a lighting solution with this set (from a different retailer) and the tiny cable is able to fit under the clear edge without it being crushed as the acrylic is light and not a super tight fit - just perfect.
Thanks so much WB, I’m really looking forward to buying lots more display solutions from you!
This is the first product that i ordered from WB last year and it's really good, my lego set was full of dust before, now in over a year is as good as new.
