LEGO® Editions Football Sets Revealed: Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappé & Vini Jr. (43011, 43012, 43013, 43015, 43016, 43018, 43027)

LEGO® has officially announced seven new sets under its LEGO® Editions platform, celebrating four of football's biggest names ahead of the FIFA World Cup™ 2026. Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior each get their own display-focused builds. For the first time, all four appear as exclusive LEGO® minifigures.

Six of the seven sets are available for pre-order now, with a release date of 1 May 2026. The seventh, a large-format Messi wall art piece, follows on 1 June 2026.

What Is LEGO® Editions?

LEGO® Editions is a new platform launching in 2026, aimed at connecting fans with their icons through collectible, display-ready sets. The football range sits alongside a parallel wave of Formula 1 helmet sets. Same idea: take a cultural passion point and make something worth putting on a shelf.

The Football Highlights Sets (43011, 43012, 43013, 43027)

The entry point for the wave is the Football Highlights range. Four sets, each priced at £24.99, each aimed at ages 10 and up.

The format is consistent across all four: a letter-shaped brick base styled around the player's initials or name, national team colour cues, a jersey number, a collectible plaque, and an exclusive minifigure. Piece counts sit between 490 and 510.

• LEGO® Editions Lionel Messi – Football Highlights (43011): 500 pieces. An M-shaped base in Argentina's colours, jersey number 10, and a Messi minifigure. Measures over 5 in. (13 cm) high and 9.5 in. (24 cm) wide.
• LEGO® Editions Cristiano Ronaldo – Football Highlights (43012): 490 pieces. An R-shaped base in Portugal's colours with CR7 detailing and the Ronaldo minifigure. Measures over 4.5 in. (11 cm) high and 8 in. (21 cm) wide.
• LEGO® Editions Kylian Mbappé – Football Highlights (43013): 490 pieces. An M-shaped base in France's colours with jersey number 10 and a Mbappé minifigure. Measures over 5 in. (13 cm) high and 9.5 in. (24 cm) wide.
• LEGO® Editions Vini Jr. – Football Highlights (43027): 510 pieces, the largest of the four. A V-shaped base in Brazil's colours with Vini Jr.'s number 7, his minifigure in a goal-scoring pose, and references to his journey in the sport. Measures over 4 in. (10 cm) high and 7.5 in. (19 cm) wide.

Each set is packed with easter eggs for fans who know the players' stories. LEGO® describes these as hidden details tracing each player's journey. Worth a close look once you've built.

The Football Legend Sets (43015, 43016)

Step up in scale and price and you get the Football Legend sets: brick-built figures of Messi and Ronaldo, each offering two display configurations.

LEGO® Editions Lionel Messi – Football Legend (43015): 958 pieces at £69.99. Build Messi in his sky-pointing victory pose or in a dribbling stance. The set includes a large number 10, MESSI lettering, a printed name plaque, and a new football ball element. In the victory pose it stands over 10.5 in. (27 cm) high.

LEGO® Editions Cristiano Ronaldo – Football Legend (43016): 854 pieces at £69.99. Build CR7 in the "Siuuu" celebration or mid-bicycle kick. Includes a large CR7 backdrop, a printed plaque, and a new co-moulded face element. Stands over 10 in. (25 cm) high in the victory pose.

Both sit on small football field dioramas and work as strong display pieces on their own. Pair them together and you've got a proper centrepiece.

The Messi Celebration (43018): June 2026

The most ambitious set in the wave is the LEGO® Editions Lionel Messi – Celebration (43018). At 1,427 pieces and £159.99, it's closer to a LEGO® Art build in format: a large, relatively flat piece of 3D wall art measuring 15 in. (38 cm) high and 18.5 in. (47 cm) wide.

The set shows Messi in his signature sky-pointing pose, jersey number 10 prominent, with Easter eggs throughout referencing his career. It's designed to hang or display flat. At those dimensions, it needs the wall space to match.

Age rating is 14+. Pre-order is open now, with availability from 1 June 2026.

Availability and Pricing

All six Football Highlights and Football Legend sets are available for pre-order now at LEGO.com/categories/football and go on sale 1 May 2026 via LEGO.com, LEGO stores, and selected retailers.

How to Display Them

The Football Highlights sets are compact (between 10 and 24 cm wide) so they work naturally as a grouped shelf display. Line up all four and you've got a clean, cohesive collection. The letter-shaped bases stand upright without additional support, but a case protects the build and the minifigure without hiding any of the detail.

The Football Legend sets stand 25–27 cm tall and work best as standalone centrepieces. The 2-in-1 build options let you reconfigure the pose without committing permanently. Worth thinking about before you decide on a final display position.

The Messi Celebration (43018) at 38 × 47 cm is a wall piece first and foremost. It needs a clear, flat surface or wall mount to do it justice.
