I ordered this display case and the one for the Horizon Tallneck as a test to decide on ordering more in the future and I'm very happy with the result. It's subjective, but I feel like the set looks even better with the display case than without. Even the colours look more vibrant to me.
If I have to give some (minor) criticism:
- It took longer then expected to arrive. But without asking I did get an email warning me that there is some delay and why. So that also counts as a plus in customer service.
- I understand wanting to standardize components, but it's a bit of a shame that the metal connecting pieces all have 3 holes and there are no pieces with only 2 holes. So the ones not in the corners will always have a visible thread hole. But I'm really nitpicking now. And it also meant having a bunch of spare screws which took the anxiety away of accidentally dropping and losing one of them.
- The instruction manual for this case is missing. But it's no rocket science to put this together and I just used the instructions of a similar case.
- My only real gripe is with the pads you can stick to the bottom plate. It could be me, but I found them impossible to use. I tried 2 and kept peeling off the fabric instead of the foil. In the end I used some other ones that I had lying around the house.
But still absolutely pleased with the quality, service, and final result, 5 stars! And I will be ordering more in the future!
