LEGO® Ideas Snoopy’s Doghouse (21368) – Set Details & Limited Edition Display Case
For over 75 years, Snoopy has been philosopher, novelist, pilot and daydreamer-in-chief. Now, one of comic history’s beloved characters gets the LEGO treatment with LEGO® Ideas Peanuts: Snoopy’s Doghouse (21368), a 964-piece display set designed especially for adult fans.
Charming, nostalgic and packed with poseability, this latest LEGO Ideas release brings Charles M. Schulz’s world to life in brick form, celebrating the quiet humour and imagination that made Peanuts a cultural icon.
A Faithful Tribute to an Icon
At the heart of the set is a fully posable Snoopy figure, complete with two alternative leg builds (for sitting and standing) and two neck positions (for lying down and upright poses). This allows you to recreate multiple classic Snoopy moments, whether he’s stretched out on top of his doghouse, perched upright typing on his typewriter, or standing beside Woodstock in thoughtful contemplation.
Woodstock is, of course, included too, a small but instantly recognisable companion who adds warmth and authenticity to every display option.
The doghouse itself is just as thoughtfully designed. Measuring over 25cm high, it captures the simple red structure that has appeared in countless comic strips and television specials. But this isn’t just a static backdrop.
Hidden Details and Playful Features
In true LEGO Ideas fashion, the set includes clever display functions that reward builders with subtle storytelling opportunities.
The doghouse can be removed from its base, and the interior walls fold open to reveal a starry night sky, transforming the scene into one of Snoopy’s many flights of imagination. Add the included campfire build, and you can pose Snoopy and Woodstock toasting marshmallows under the stars.
Alternatively, display Snoopy sitting upright at his brick-built typewriter, tapping away at what is almost certainly the opening line to another unfinished novel.
A Fan-Designed LEGO Ideas Set
Created by Atlanta-based LEGO enthusiast Robert Becker, the project was submitted to the LEGO Ideas platform, where fan designers share original concepts in the hope of seeing them turned into official releases. After gaining the required 10,000 supporter votes, a major milestone within the Ideas community, the design moved forward to the LEGO Ideas Review Board. Following a rigorous evaluation process, it was officially approved for production.
It’s easy to see why the concept resonated. The playful interpretation of Snoopy and Woodstock captured the charm of Charles M. Schulz’s characters while translating them convincingly into brick form.
