Quite a mixed experience as I bought both the astrogranite and grass pitch versions of the case with VERY different experiences. Both items came separately, despite being purchased in the same order, which is fine but one was in very different condition upon arrival.
The first one was Astrogranite which was, to be honest, extremely disappointing! The packaging was torn open, everything was loose and filthy. There was some minor damage to the base and backing art. Although I’m not sure how or when this damaged occurred it was incredibly disappointing after waiting so long for a high quality product.
I also noticed that the backing, although different between pitches in a couple of the photos (namely the posters on the wall and grass at the bottom) mine were both identical. I understand they say the images may differ to product and they didn’t specify which posters you’d get but the grass on the walls in the astrogranite pitch just bothers me (as it seems like the intended to have no grass at the base of the wall as seen in the photos) just be warned that the images really can’t be trusted unless there was a mistake with mine in particular.
The second (grass pitch) arrived the next day and it was perfect! Everything you’d hope for. Although it improved the whole experience a little, the first case still has left a residual bad impression which leaves me feeling quite disappointed after waiting a month and a half.
Other general notes include the edges being a tad sharpe and I sliced my finger open but that could just be my fault for not being careful. Also, the stackable feature seems to be lost on me, maybe I’m doing something wrong but the magnets are polarising so actually repel leaving a gap/benign if stacked. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong but it doesn’t seem right. Also, tiny thing, the magnets have multiple holes despite not all being needed when the contact point is a magnet (meaning you can see the holes from the outside through the clear acrylic as it doesn’t line up perfectly)
TLDR; don’t buy the astrograntie pitch if you’re a perfectionist. There’s a possibility, that there was an issue with my order which may be rectified/explained but otherwise the grass one was really good though I’m yet to figure out the stacking feature given the magnets
