Great Stand - Could be a little more securely mounted

This is a great stand and a drastic improvement over the basic Lego stand. That said, it took a bit of time to put together and I found it to be a little precarious once mounted on the stand. With that said, I ended up using some fishing line and feeding it through one of the technic beams and wrapping it around the stand to ensure it wouldn't fall off if it got bumped. Love the stand - Would recommend!

Awesome stand

Delivery time aside, which is worth the wait I will add, the stand looks incredible and really brings the model to life.
I found it helps by having a mallet to gently tap the pieces into place when assembling the stand itself.
And highly recommend having 2 people to mount your model, all in all though I highly recommend this stand.
Thank you wicked brick.

Looks pretty cool but......

So to start off the display stand really makes the Star Destroyer stand out. I went for the angled stand to sort of give it a bit of movement rather than being dead flat. I only have
a couple of issues and they are minor ones and by looking at the reviews below they seems to be a common. First up its a real job to assemble the stand. The connection points are so tight I thought the thing was going to break at one point. Not sure if there is a trick to ease the clear panels into the black base but there is a lot of creaking going on trying to fit it together. On the flip side the horizontal piece that sits between the two side panels is so loose it falls out if you breathe on it.

Next issue, and this seems to be a common one, mounting. Maybe due to the angled stand but as soon as you mount the model falls off due to the centre of gravity being off. I tried two ways. Building the internal frame and mounting that first, but then as soon as the first bottom panel goes on the model falls off the stand. Next I tried building the model to a point where the internal frame was built and all the bottom panels were fitted. It seem to stay in place but as soon as you fit one of the top panels, gravity shifts and the model falls off the stand.

I eventually found a solution and this was to wrap a wire cable tie through a technic piece and the stand. The thinking is that it wouldn't be seen as its going to be inside the model. One thing I did notice, and may be a possible solution was that there were some of the technic beams that lined up with the side panel of the frame. If there were a hole there I could push a long technic pin through the frame and into the model which would hold it it place.

Finally delivery times. Not sure where these stands are coming from, maybe the US, but its a long wait. Just received another stand for some BrikHeadz that was ordered beginning of March, that's two months.

4* for the absolute fidlyness of getting the stand put together and trying to get the Star Destroyer mounted. 5* for the end effect. It looks stunning, just need to find an acrylic case to sit it in now.

Looks great but a bit fiddly

The stand looks great and once mounted and on the shelf is fully secured. However mounting the star destroyer on the stand is a bit tricky and I would suggest having 2 people to achieve this. Likewise building straight onto the stand is also and option but also tricky due to gravity being the main factor holding the set in place (as opposed locking pins in the Lego built stand).

All of that being said I have these angled stands for both the Falcon and Star Destroyer now and they make the models look fantastic while also reducing the amount of real estate required to display them so all in all a great addition.

I was also able to reverse the stand to support the shelves I have set up which is easy to do and means the set can be displayed in either direction

4* purely for the delivery time and fiddlyness getting the set onto the stand 5* for how it looks when all set up

I just wish the delivery times weren’t quite so long

A great way to display

Just as with the 75192 ucs millennium falcon stand, it went together very easily, just had to use the pictures here on the website so I could see how it attaches to the ship. Since I reversed the orientation all I did was put the right hand leg on the left and vice versa. Not as steep of an angle as I had anticipated, but I gave it a shakedown and it was very sturdy. I love it, and I'd recommend 10/10
